ABOUT
Samantha was first elected to the Kansas House in 2020, representing Kansas House District 6, which encompasses Louisburg, Paola, and part of Osawatomie in Miami County.

As a first generation American Citizen and a lifelong Kansan, she understands the importance of defending American values and ensuring our freedoms are safeguarded for future generations.

In 1996, her parents opened Beethoven’s Restaurant on the Historic Town Square in Paola – Samantha grew up working at the restaurant, learning the value of hard work. Growing up in her family’s restaurant created a deep appreciation for the community and taught her the importance advocating for small businesses.

At the age of 13, she watched as her dad took the Naturalization Oath on the historic grounds of Fort Scott – becoming a United States Citizen.

At the age of 14, she she watched as planes flew into the Twin Towers – knowing full well that the terrorist attacks of 9/11 were not only an attack on America, but on the western world and our way of life.

The lasting impact of watching her dad take the oath to “support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” followed by watching as terrorist flew planes into the very symbol of what brought her parents to the U.S. – Trade, is why Samantha made it her goal to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution and the very core of what makes America so great, freedom.

While attending Kansas State University, Samantha interned at the Kansas Secretary of State’s office. After college she worked on U.S. Senator Pat Roberts re-election campaign. She then went on to serve as Communications Director for former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach.

Samantha is a graduate of the Eisenhower Women’s leadership series as well as the former Secretary of the Kansas Rifle Association.
As a mother herself, Samantha wants nothing more than ensure Kansas is left better off for future generations. She will always fight for the best interests of hard working Kansans, protect the sanctity of life, and defend our constitutional rights.
